In “Palladium” was held regular meeting of the association of charity foundations. Moderater of the meeting was our foundation.

The main theme of the meeting was the state of child cardiac surgery in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The current state of this issue was presented to representatives of Department of health of Almaty, National Scientific Center of Cardio Surgery after name of Syzganov and urban cardio centre.

The figures which were announced are - from 3000  to  5000 annual births of children with heart defects in Kazakhstan only 2% operated here.

Up to one year age about 80% of children die.

“Association of Charity Foundations” was the “first of thousand steps” to resolve this problem which decided to buy 2 special high-tech devices in the intensive care unit of National Scientific Center of Cardio Surgery after name of Syzganov

This are resuscitation tables which will to save at least two times greater number of surgically treated infants.

“DARA” foundation reported about the work of Association on amendments in the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning “Marriage and the family” regarding adoption.

Public foundation “Shyn Zhurekten” reported about the establishment of an informational network of “Association of Charity Foundations” in Kazakhstan. This project was supported by the “First President Foundation of Kazakhstan”

The next meeting of the “Association of Charity Foundations” will be held in September. Moderater of this meeting will Public foundation “Together against cancer”.
