In the Kazakhstan press club held a press conference of organizers of the First international conference on philanthropy in Kazakhstan. Representatives of organization committee Zhangeldi Sarsenov, Zhuldyz Omarbekova told about the purpose of this conference. The journalists asked many questions about the state of philanthropy in Kazakhstan. Aigul Mukey told her opinions about the media`s role in philanthropy: without the help of journalists development of philanthropy is simply impossible. Through the media our citizens can learn about the good deeds that are committed by charity organizations. This information is able to attract an increasing number of people in the charity and sponsors learn where and how funds are spent which were donated to charities.

The interest of the media at the press conference to the affairs of charity organizations allows us to hope that the first international conference on philanthropy in Kazakhstan will be successful.
