In the park “Fantasy world of Almaty” charity foundations “AYALA” and Dara” organized “Day of smiles” 2009.
Day of smiles was held for the second time. This is a holiday for children who are brought up in orphanages. This year invited more than seven hundred children from four orphanages.
“Fantasy world of Almaty” graciously offered its territory and attractions for the event. Children were very happy. Many of them just came out from the attraction or the carousel, immediately took a place in the line to again ride another attraction.
Our holiday was visited with mayor of the city Akhmetzhan Yesimov, vice mayor Seydumanov, head of the department of education of Almaty Ms. Shimasheva, akim of Bostandyk district of Almaty Amanzholova, the executive director of the foundation, executive director of First President foundation Mr. Mukhamedzhanov, vice-chairman of the board of trusties of the National bank of Kazakhstan and representatives of tourist companies Gloria inc. Muslim Muhtarovna presented gifts - sport inventory.
This year all the food for guests were provided with restaurants «Bellagio», «Line Brew», «Mamamia», “Grilyazh”,”Tubeteika”, «Sadu» and beverage manufacturers “Resmi group” (juices) water “Caspian industries” (water “Vita”), “Continent trade” (water “Tassay”).
With the concert were students of the academy of arts after neme of “Zhurgenova” and Kazakh young popular musicians. Provided all celebratory act popular show-man Alexander Shumsky.
Traditionally on this day orphanages have received gifts. Last year it was video and photo cameras, sports equipment, elegant clothes.
This year, children asked for bars, exercise bicycles, free weights and dumbbells, soft mats for wrestling and acrobatics, other sports equipment and children&`s homes received this gifts from sponsors of this holiday.
We then phoned orphanages to learn about their expression about the holiday. We were told that the children come insanely happy, and teachers were pleased that the children that evening went to sleep early.
