In the foundation of the First President held a regular meeting of the Association of Charity Foundations in Almaty. The meeting was attended by representatives of 18 nonprofit organizations, most of whom are engaged in charity and social projects. Presentation on the types of grants showed Janyl Mukashova, program manager of public foundation BOTA. About the project “Fotonastiya” informed president pf Shyn Zhurekten Mikhail Filonov. About the Association of Charity Foundations and the development of pediatric cardiac surgery in our country and the first results of the project “I want to live” informed Zhangeldy Sarsenov - president adviser of “AYALA” charity foundation.

Basically the purpose of this meeting was discussion of the ways of development of  Association of Charity Foundations. All representatives of NGOs after reports of the experts Askar Kaliyeva and political analyst Eduard Poletayev agreed that it is necessary to form a legal entity and name it “The association of charity organizations (ACO) of Kazakhstan”. It was decided to establish a working group to develop a strategic plan for the ACO and start building a database of charities and nonprofit organizations working to help socially vulnerable layers of population in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
