Another method of treatment became available to children undergoing treatment and rehabilitation at the Almaty City Children's Rehabilitation Center (CCRC). Our fund transferred to this medical institution paraffin heating device and thermostat. This medical equipment will help staff members of the center to conduct heat therapies for children. In the rehabilitation center the treatment is received by children, aged from 3 to 14 years with a variety of central and peripheral nervous systems diseases, including children with cerebral palsy (CP). Rehabilitation courses are on average 2 weeks. Heat therapies that previously were not possible without the transferred today’s equipment, are a powerful tool for rehabilitation, particularly for children with cerebral palsy.

Transferring of paraffin heating device and thermostat became another link in the chain of good that charity fund "Ayala" did for CCRC. With the help of various sponsors and Friends Club of "AYALA" Fund, in the rehabilitation center a new ware, kitchen equipment, equipment for physiotherapy and other medical equipment were appeared, and a modern sports and playground were built.

The sponsor of the project "Healing Heat” was the Ltd «Aztrans».  The founders of this company have provided assistance to children's rehabilitation center. This year in CCRC were built playground and sport grounds.

In CCRC since its opening in last year in September, a course of rehabilitation has passed 970 children from all parts of Almaty city.  Doctors point the high efficiency of rehabilitation in diseases of the nervous system. We are confident that with the advent of paraffin heating device, rehabilitation will become more productive.
