Today to our foundation came two participants of the "Gentle hands ofnurses" project. This project will help improve skills of medical nurses working in children's cardiac surgery departments. From the 1st to the 29th of April nurses from the Almaty Center of perinatology and pediatric cardiac surgery Aygerim Ashenova and Nurbanum Aysaeva were trained in one of the best medical centers of India (Gurgaon city) Fortis Memorial Research Institute.  A detailed presentation was prepared for us. Interns told us a lot for the further development of the "Gentle hands of nurses" project.

Nurses working inhospitals in India are considered among the best in the world. The main theme of lessons began treatment and care of children after cardiac surgery. During work side by side with Indian hospital doctors and nurses, our nurses learned a lot of new and useful for their work. For the time passed after the arrival, the nurses are generously sharing with acquired experience with their colleagues. We plan to put a new educational project on a permanent footing.  In foundation’s plans next year is a training of perinatology and pediatric cardiac surgery center’s employees, as well as a competition for the vacant positions of the center between graduate students of the Almaty Medical College. Victory in the competition will provide not only employment, but also the possibility of traveling abroad for training in the future.

The budget for thisproject amounted to 1 406 850 tenge. This amount includes the cost of processing an Indian visa, airfare, lodging, meals and travel expenses.
