The project “Heat of home hearth”

Regional Children's Village family type is located in the township Geologist in Atyrau region. This social institution began its work in 2001. Currently, in the village live 54 children aged from 3 to 18 years in 6 families. These children are mostly orphans and children left without parental care. For full value living, education and training for independent life, the children's village lacks many things - appliances, kitchen utensils, computers, furniture, bedding and clothing. The main task of children's social institutions, including family type, is the socialization of their wards, that is preparation them for adult life. Unfortunately, according to statistics, 60-70% of the graduates of children's homes and special homes for children, who left without parental care, in the first five years becoming wards of the prison system that is because of conflict with the law due to the social immaturity. To minimize the risk of children criminalization, it is necessary to plant them at least a minimal familiarity with modern technology.
