The first ceremony of public award “Samgau” was held that day. This award is given for outstanding achievements of people with disabilities in the areas of culture, sports, education and social activities. The award was established by public foundation “Baurzhan” and private foundation “Meyirim”. Our foundation presented money prize for vocal group “SAT”. This group consisted of three blind boys; they won in the category “Children’s arts”. We gave young musicians 300 000 KZT. We wish to the award “Samgau” the same success as “Altyn zhurek“ award achieved. We are confident that these activities make an invaluable contribution to the education of charity traditions in Kazakhstan.
