This year, we decided to continue the tradition of Universal Children’s Day celebration here in Kazakhstan. Let us remember that UN General Assembly adopted the Declaration of Children’s rights on 20th November 1959 and recommended all member states of the organizations to celebrate this day. The holiday is hardly familiar or totally unknown for the most of Commonwealth of Independent States. In 2010 “AYALA” charity foundation took a decision to popularize this holiday. The single event organized by Foundation last year covered disabled kids who were raised at home and children with growth hormone deficit only. This year we decided to attract not only this particular group of children. The Foundation has planned 7 different events dedicated to Universal Children’s Day. The events will take place at entertainment centers, rehabilitation center for kids with neurological conditions and at the Boarding school №8 for orphans.
The very first of planned events was carried out on 8th November, 2011 at MEGA Almaty shopping center. We didn’t break the traditions and invited disabled kids raised at home from Bostandyk area and kids with growth hormone deficit. The event was carried out according to the formula our Foundation had invented – EFP, which stands for Entertainment + Food + Presents. The entertainment part consisted in riding at playground HAPPYLON, the food was provided by HAPPY BURGER, the presents were donated by Friends’ Club of “AYALA” charity foundation. The children were very happy about the event; not only they had nice food but also got presents for each and every of them. Children with growth hormone deficit got “Happy Beans” board game and disabled kids depending on their age and gender received toy cars, dolls and DVD movies.
The entire territory of HAPPYLON center, rides, 4D cinema, animators were granted for free. The food was provided for free by fast food chain on the territory of HAPPYLON. Our individual thanks go to the chain of restaurants “Mamma Mia” and”Ciao Pizza”.
On behalf of participants of the event and their parents we express our gratitude to Rustam Ageev, a Chairman of the “Happylon Corp.” company, Pavel Lutsenko CEO of the Individual Enterprise “Lutsenko P.V.” and to Mrs. Flyura Batyrova, a president of Friends’ Club of “AYALA” charity foundation.
