The pupils of Almaty special (correctional) boarding school #4 for blind children and children with vision disorders named after Ostrovsky N. were one of the first participants who took part in the project “A letter to Santa Claus” of the charity foundation “AYALA”. The campaign started in the beginning of December. The letters to kind magician were written in Braille letters and teachers translated them. Generally, the children asked for mobile phones and, certainly, a standard set of dolls and cars.   

The Christmas tree decorated with children’s letters was set in the office of the company Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia. Any company employee could reply to the child’s letter by putting a present or money to the envelope. 157 multicoloured postcards were decorations to the fluffy green beauty during the whole month. In three days prior to the New Year the children’s dreams came true! The company employees gave presents personally to each pupil. Before the awarding ceremony a festive show with Murat Muturganov was held. In the frameworks of this show acrobats, jugglers and illusionists acted. The children who were pupils from 1st to 8th forms left full of joy, with presents and good mood.
