A solemn ceremony dedicated to the 80th anniversary since the founding of the institution has been held in the auditorium of boarding school named by Ostrovsky for the blind and visually impaired children today.  Blind and visually impaired children have been receiving education for 80 years in the school, many of whom later successfully finished higher educational institutions, worked and work in various fields.

Representatives of different organisations have attended the celebrationf: the Department of Education, National Pedagogical University, "Nur Otan" party, "Ustaz" trade union, public and charity foundations. All of these organisations have provided and are providing continuing assistance to pupils, teachers and the entire boarding-school. Guests have come to the anniversary with gifts and so have our foundation. We have given a large number of specific equipment for boarding school’s pupils, especially for the blind. Chess, checkers and other board games, specially adapted for the blind people are among the gifts.  Furthermore, we have presented one football ball, three volleyball and three basketball balls that make sounds for blind players for sports activities to the boarding school. Teachers dealing with blind children have been especially pleased with this gift. Our foundation has begun the celebration of the Universal Children's Day, which is on 20^th of November, with the awarding of these essential gifts. 

Flyura Muhtarovna Batyrova, apresident of Friends’ Club of «AYALA" foundation, has been particularly warmly greeted.  Let us remind that the Friends’ Club exactly built comfortable and modern children's playground in the boarding school last year.   Flyura Muhtarovna also hasn’t come empty-handed. 100 hot delicious pizzas have been brought from a network of restaurants "Mamamia" and «Ciao pizza» on the anniversary day.

Many of the boarding school’s employees have been awarded diplomas on the anniversary day. Sponsors and partners have presented office equipment, musical equipment, and items of decorative art to the boarding school named after Ostrovsky. The boarding school’s pupils have prepared a special festive concert for guests. the Kazakhstan pop stars also have come to congratulate children, they prepared a performance for all guests, children and for the staff of the boarding school.
