Today, at the "Arman" cinema there was a premiere of the famous director Peter Jackson's film "The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey".  The administration of the cinema decided to combine this event with a charity event as a part of our foundation’s project "Letter toGrandfather Frost."  During the event before the film started a host drew attention to the fact that the box for raising money for the closing celebration of the project "Letter to Grandfather Frost" is installed in the lobby. Let us remind, that on December 27^th at the "Arman" cinema our foundation is planning to arrange a matinee for 52 children - pupils of special (correctional) boarding schools № 1, № 7 and № 8, who wrote letters to the main character of New Year celebration.

Performance before the premiere was furnished with proper for famous director fanfare. Besides buffet, the characters of the movie "The Hobbit: Unexpected Journey» took part in the celebration.  There was a light show, as well as competitions and quizzes on the history of moviemaking.  The winners received gifts. The film left a very good impression on all spectators of the Almaty part of the grand motion picture’s world premiere. 

In total, during the premiere at the "Arman" cinema 13 030 KZT was collected. Another 51 633 KZT was collected from the boxes installed in the Saks Fifth Avenue (Esentai mall) and Halyk Bank. The budget of the holiday is 100 000 KZT.

The process of fundraising for this holiday is being continued in the boxes, located in the central office of Halyk Bank. If you want to help us in the conduction of the holiday for children, you still have time to contribute to the project "Letter to Grandfather Frost."
