Each adult deep inside is still a small child. This thought was put behind in the cartoon “The Little Prince” which was on general release on the eve of the most enchanting fest – New Year. Today the pupils of Almaty regional boarding school #15 for children from low-income families watched closely after the life ups and downs of main heroes. A free movie screening for pupils of 5th form was organized by the charity foundation “AYALA” and cinema networks Chaplin Cinemas. The children watched cartoon in the spacious cinema hall of the shopping and entertainment center MEGA Park that was situated at the intersection of Seifullin Avenue and Makatayev Street.
The cartoon was based upon one of the most romantic and touching fairytales of Antoine de Saint-Exupery. A little girl whose life is fully planned is a main heroine. But everything changes as soon as she meets an elderly pilot. He told her a story of The Little Prince who lived on the planet, adored sunsets and searched for a real friend. Thus a big journey full of adventures began!
One and a half hour went too quickly for 36 boys and girls. After watching cartoon they ate with big appetite lunch prepared kindly by The Caspian International Restaurants Company, in particular by KFC fast food restaurant. In total the fest’s budget amounted to 20 000 tenge. On this money a bus was ordered and it brought children to MEGA Park and back to the boarding school.
