The World Day of spontaneous acts of kindness should be a national holiday in Kazakhstan

The “AYALA” fund continues the tradition of promoting various events. The next stage of our cooperation with the special (correctional) boarding school #7 for children with intellectual disabilities was the transfer of large amounts of high-quality plumbing tools to the workshop. Hammers, saws, jig saws, as well as many power tools, drills, grinders, received the workshop of the boarding school, where boys are taught how to work with wood and metal. These skills will be useful for them in the future adult life. For the fund’s employees in the cabinet of labor education was arranged an improvised public lesson. All equipment for the metal workshop we gave to the boarding school within the holiday 23^rd of February. Since the Soviet times Day of the Soviet Army and Navy Fleet was a traditional male holiday, so the "AYALA" fund and gave a lot to the workshop where the boys are working. The cost of the equipment and fixtures is 422 000 tenge.

On the 17^th of February the whole world celebrates the day of spontaneous acts of kindness. For this holiday our fund has prepared another gift for the boarding school № 7. This gift has become an interactive whiteboard. Fund’s employees also attended a public lesson of the Kazakh language. For us, long graduated from school, the new board was a revelation. There are no boring chalk and a cloth to erase writings. Interactive whiteboard does everything in conjunction with a computer. Whiteboard lets you watch movies, listen to music, write, draw, and create a variety of documents in front of classmates. We believe that such equipment significantly improves the quality of education, and most importantly, makes the lessons enthralling. The cost of the whiteboard is 361 450 tenge.

Teachers of the boarding school admitted to us that every visit of our fund’s staff is very nice and promised the necessary changes in the school.  And the transferring of the equipment, tools, furniture, and household appliances are a real holiday. Teachers and pupils prepared for us a little concert. This concert was attended not only by children but also teachers. The real highlight of the event was the wall newspaper, which have children prepared.

We hope that the World Day of spontaneous acts of kindness will eventually become for every Kazakhstani another excuse to do good for children, for elderly and for all those people, who need help.

The cost of the project amounted 783 450 tenge. The fund took the project "Skilled Hands" for itself and the interactive whiteboard for the project "Modern technologies for children" was purchased with the donations from private person.
