Today, in the children's library named after Begalin we held for the third grade pupils of special (correctional) boarding school #9 for children with severe speech disorders in Almaty fascinating holiday - Kazakhstan Library Day. 16 years ago, the first congress of librarians in our country took place. In the just opened new building of the library staff has arranged for our wards a real holiday. Girls and boys have discovered a magical world. It turned out that reading – is one of the most fascinating studies. Children have discovered not only the world of the printed book, but its modern form - its interactive subsistence. 

Devoted to their work, employees of the library arranged for pupils a lot of games, competitions and quizzes. All this took place in a number of rooms of the library. But the most interesting was the presentation of the new building of the oldest children's library in Almaty city. The new building was completely rebuilt from the inside, and now everything in it is intended for introduction to the world of the book. New technologies successfully intertwined with the usual books. For our children traveling in buildings of the Children's Library named after Begalin was a real discovery.

The teachers who accompanied the children admitted that they were thinking about the tedious two-hour lesson in the library, but the children were so engrossed in the games, reading, contests and quizzes that they themselves did not notice how time of the unusual lesson flew.

Not healthy, but the kids loved treats was the close of our holiday - the Kazakhstan Library Day. The burger menu donated chain of fast-food LFC and Mr. Burger & Pizza cafes. A sponsor of the holiday and bookish gifts for the children and the library became a Gloria Inc travel agency. Holiday budget amounted to 45,000 tenge. It seems that almost any good man can afford to organize such a small celebration for the children of the boarding school. Vildana Bitanova - Member of the Club of Friends of the "AYALA" charity foundation is not for the first time helps us in organizing children's parties. We wish her and all her family good luck and prosperity.  

We would like to especially mention the hospitality, friendliness and creativity of employees of the library named after Begalin. We are confident that our joint actions will become a good tradition for the library, and most importantly, for children.
