Today the ceremony of opening children sports playground built by the "AYALA" charity foundation held on the territory of a boarding school #4 for deaf children. Sponsors of the "The yard of my childhood" project for the Semey city were a chain of “Mamamia” restaurants, Ciao pizza, "Air Astana" and network of "Kaganat" canteens.  Total cost of the playground is 3 208 175 tenge.

The “AYALA” foundation is implementing the "The yard of my childhood" project since 2007. During this time by the foundation were established 21 playgrounds, manufacturing by KSIL company in children's health and educational institutions in the Almaty, Astana, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Petropavlovsk, Atyrau, Shymkent and Temirtau cities. Total for this project was sent 47 million tenge. All playgrounds established by the "AYALA" foundation durable, solid, meet the safety requirements.    

On the 1^st of September 2012 the “AYALA” foundation and "Air Astana" installed a playground at the boarding school in Semey city for children from poor families. A little later the foundation received a request from teacher, student and parent team of boarding school #4, asking to set the same playground on their territory.

The boarding school #4 for deaf children was organized in 1978. There are 100 hearing impaired children learning in the school. Most pupils are children from low-income and single-parent families, 58% - from other cities. Major part of the year, pupils are in the boarding school. Pedagogical team is doing everything possible to ensure that children feel themselves at school like at home. The "AYALA" foundation tries to help teachers to improve the conditions of the boarding school.

"Our foundation is very pleased that in Semey has appeared another colorful and safe playground. Modern gaming complex, which opened today at the boarding school, will be a favorite place for games not only for boarding school pupils but also children from the neighborhood. We know this firsthand, because already for 7 years implementing the "The yard of my childhood" project. Unfortunately, neither we nor our partners could come to the opening ceremony because of the tight schedule of activities.

Many thanks to visitors of Ciao pizza, “Mamamia” restaurants, "Kaganat" canteen and "Air Astana" ticket offices which did not pass by our boxes for money collection and contributed to the implementation of "The yard of my childhood" project. On behalf of all the people who participated in raising money for the construction of this playground, I wish all the children and teachers health, good luck and that they relate to the playground carefully then it will enjoy them for many years", - said vice-president of the "AYALA" charity foundation Zhangeldy Sarsenov.
