Today a holiday was in the Regional Special Boarding School #2 for children with developmental disabilities. A new colorful playground was built on the school territory. This became the next stage of "The yard of my childhood" project of the "AYALA" charity foundation.

Unfortunately, on the territories of boarding schools and children's hospitals are practically no facilities for games space. In the best case, there is a football field with a border gate, iron bars and horizontal bars set at the institution’s opening moment. The “AYALA” foundation has a rich experience in building playgrounds in Almaty. In addition, the foundation has built playgrounds in children's educational and healthcare institutions of Astana, Semey, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Petropavlovsk, Atyrau and Taldykorgan cities. And today a modern and safe sports playground opened in Temirtau.  

From 120 to 150 pupils (grades 1-9) are studying in the boarding school #2. Main diagnoses are mild mental retardation and moderate mental retardation - Autism and other complicated comorbidities: congenital clubfoot deformity of the hip bones, cerebral palsy, spastic hemiparesis, diplegia, scoliosis of varying severity, etc. At the boarding school an active sport and recreation activities in areas of "Health" and "Sport" is carried out. Results of the work in these areas are sporting achievements of pupils under the "Special Olympics" in republican and international competitions. At the World Winter Olympics in the U.S.A. students of the boarding school #2 won gold and bronze medals.

"Modern sports and gaming complex, which opened today, will be a good tool for athletic training of students of the boarding school. The bright complex includes gymnastic rings and bars, horizontal bars, monkey bars, table tennis and a lot of other things that will help the children to develop physically. And as we know, physical development is very conducive to intellectual development. This is particularly important for children from our boarding school for children with developmental disabilities", - said an acting director of the boarding school Irina NABUSHEVA.  

The “AYALA” foundation many years ago chose KSIL Company as a partner to "The yard of my childhood" project. All sports and play equipment of this manufacturer offers long durability and meets the highest safety requirements. In addition, the KSIL Company provides to the foundation a good discount. Total cost of the playground is 2 630 650 tenge. Sponsor in the construction of sports and game complex acted Karaganda Deluxe magazine, which has allocated for this project 93 000 tenge. Chief editor Alia Sadyrbaeva personally attended the ceremony and snip a tape on the symbolic entrance to the playground.

Vice-President of the "AYALA" foundation Zhangeldy SARSENOV said: "Unfortunately, our foundation’s representatives were unable to attend today's ceremony. But very pleased that our partners from the Deluxe magazine took time and came to the opening of the playground. We are always welcome our sponsors for such events, so they could see firsthand the results of our work".
