An unusual fest was celebrated by the friendly company of pupils from Almaty boarding school #17 for children from needy families. The charity foundation “AYALA” organized the World Cartoons’ Day for children. This day was founded in 2002 by International Association of Animated Films. Notably on 6th of April in 1906 John Stuart Blackton and Albert Smith, the founders of American cinematographic union Vitagraph, shot the first series of animated films “Comic phases of funny faces”. These were the first cartoons in the history of planet and they laid the foundation for animation. The pupils of boarding school watched a cartoon “King of monkeys” in the cinema centre “Arman”. Then the little spectators had a substantial dinner in the network of restaurants Burger King. In total, 30 children took part in this amazing fest. These were children of the first, second and third grades. A transportation of children was organized by bank subsidiary of JSC “Sberbank”.
