Where does a theatre play start? An answer to this question was received by pupils of the orphanage of family type “SOS Children’s village of Almaty”. The children were told about life behind the scene in the state academic Russian theatre of drama named after M. Lermontov. The children received such an unusual present on the occasion of World Theatre Day. In the very beginning the children watched a fairytale in two acts “Crystal slipper”. Then all actors who played in this performance stayed at the scene, talked to children and made a collective photo for memory. Afterwards a chief administrator of theatre Elena Anatolyevna Dianova organized an exciting excursion in the theatre. 

Boys and girls saw decorations, found out how to work with these decorations, visited scene wardrobe and discovered how the shoes are made for artists. Moreover, they were told about the history of the theatre. The children experienced delight, amazement and dozens of emotions during the excursion. Perhaps, in future some of these children may become an actor, a director, a lighting operator or a screenwriter.
