Almaty pupils helped to collect money for their peers from Saran town. For 5 days there was a charity trade fair of paintings in the shopping and entertainment center Mega Alma-Ata 2. Pupils of affiliated branches of the operating fund “Nursultan Nazarbayev Educational Foundation” - Miras International School, The International School of Almaty and The Arystan Specialized Lyceum made the paintings. The children presented their best 36 works for the buyer's judgment. There were portraits, landscape scenes and still-life paintings the cost of which amounted to 3 - 20 thousands tenge. There were green meadows, high mountains, and a mythic bird hugging a baby.

In total, 23 paintings were sold at the cost of 275 000 tenge. All collected financial resources were transferred to the project of the charity foundation “AYALA” – “ART-THERAPY”. The aim of this project is to equip a cabinet of art studio in the regional special boarding school #5 for children with disabilities of Saran town in Karaganda region.

It should be noted that 181 children in the age from 5 to 18 years with intellectual development disorders, which are often complicated by emotional-volitional disorders, study at this school. The pupils of the boarding school can hardly apply the elementary knowledge on practice. Therefore, for their education specially-equipped classes and art workshops are required. The boarding school has planned to open a cabinet of art studio by the beginning of the fourth quarter. Thanks to the held charity trade fair the cabinet will be equipped with the drawing easels, canvas, watercolor paper, technical drawing folders, squirrel brushes, pencils, and colorless finishing varnishes for ready-made works, interactive board and many other things. The total cost of the project amounted to 388 190 tenge.
