Cooks, locksmiths, hairdressers, manicure specialists, carpenters and woodworkers – such useful professions will be acquired by the pupils of the Almaty boarding schools #15 in the near future. A locksmith’s workshop, hairdresser’s cabinet and room of social and household orientation were opened in the institution. The total cost of project is equal to 3 953 932 tenge. That day the children took part in the master classes provided by professional chef and hair stylist.
The pupils of the special boarding school #6 for children with intellectual development disorders can also become the professional specialists in their spheres. In their institution a a pottery workshop was opened. Before the pottery’s opening a teacher Mariya Michailovna went to St Petersburg for professional development courses. Now the children enjoy making household items, souvenirs and decorations. It is possible that in future they will start their own business. The project’s cost amounted to 2 685 916 tenge.
Furthermore in the sixth boarding school a gardening club was opened. A cosy atmosphere, necessary facilities – all these factors enable the children to disclose their creative self-realization here. 941 691 tenge was spent on the room’s decoration.
