For the first time in Almaty, AYALA Foundation and Air Astana organized an inclusive “Minute of Fame” talent show competition for students of 3 boarding schools - No. 10, No. 17 and No. 9 (for children with severe speech impairments).
The competition brought together 32 children aged 8 to 15 years, who on December 19 showed their talents at a bright festive show hosted by Murat Muturganov at the Jungle Park of Atakent Mall.
10 children from the special boarding school No. 9, where children with severe speech disorders study, decided to show their acts - 6 dances and one gymnastic performance, 2 songs and even one rap performance - Denis Shkolin writes his own texts and raps.
In total, the children showed 32 performances in the New Year talent competition - 12 dances, 8 songs, 4 poems and gymnastic acts, and also performed 3 kyuis.
AYALA Charity Foundation has been holding New Year's events for pupils of boarding schools for many years in a row.
“We see how many talents there are in boarding schools. That is why this year we decided to make our event in the format of “Minute of Fame”. Murat Muturganov presents each act, and the juries give their assessment of the performance of a child. But the main thing is that all the action takes place not within the walls of an educational institution, but in the place where other spectators and contestants can evaluate the creativity of children. Our goal is to help pupils of boarding schools to believe in their strengths and unique talents,” Vice President for Communications of AYALA Charity Foundation Natalya Yeskova commented.
Children will be treated with great prizes from the sponsor of the event - Air Astana. The winner will get the opportunity to fly to Nur-Sultan and a SamsungA10 smartphone. The silver medalist will fly on a flight simulator and get a SamsungA10 smartphone. The bronze medalist will be awarded with a SamsungA10 smartphone.
Encouragement prizes are also provided – Meloman stores gift vouchers for the amount of 5 to 10 thousand tenge.
