The first bright New Year Ayaz Balashka Parade will be held in Almaty. More than 100 children from boarding schools captivated passers-by in funny flash mobs to dance music, they will give them gifts with warm wishes for the upcoming New Year. The parade organized by AYALA Charity Foundation with the support of the Akimat of Almaty.
By tradition, before the New Year, Kazakhstanis are trying to do something pleasant for pupils of orphanages and boarding schools - they buy them sweet gifts, fulfill their cherished wishes, written in "Letters to Ded Moroz". They do everything to create the atmosphere of a holiday miracle for them.
The organizers of the Ayaz Balashka Parade in Almaty decided to slightly transform this tradition.
“Of course, the main goal of our event is to create a pre-holiday atmosphere for the residents of our city. - President of AYALA Charity Foundation Aidan Suleimenova said. - But we also want pupils of boarding schools, who receive a lot of attention and care from Almaty residents on New Year's holidays, to feel that giving presents and attention by themselves is also very nice. Our foundation seeks to help foster a culture of philanthropy in Kazakhstan. And we are sure that the participation of children from low-income families in events, when they give their attention and say kind words to others, will help them grow up responsive, attentive and generous people".
The Ayaz Balashka Parade took place on December 20 on the pedestrian side of Panfilov Street from Tole Bi Avenue to the intersection of Zhibek Zholy Avenue with Abylay Khan Avenue. Along the way, the children under the guidance of experienced entertainers will hold 3 bright flash mobs and give passers-by about 2,000 tangerines and more than 500 sweets with good wishes in the New Year.
“We fully support the idea of the active participation of pupils of state social educational institutions in events that develop their proactive life position and the right life values. We are sure that participation in the Ayaz Balashka Parade will give children not only unforgettable emotions of creating a holiday with their own hands, but also the understanding that it is necessary to give something to society in order to get more from it in the future,” they noted in the Education Department of the Akimat of Almaty.
At the end of the Parade, all Ayaz Balashkas were treated to doners and tea in Zheka’s cafe, a partner of the event for hot meals. And, of course, the organizers gave each child a sweet gift to make this day even more pleasant and memorable.
