For the "AYALA" charity foundation the "Letter to Santa Claus" project is a tradition of the past few years. This project consists of several parts. First, children from children's social institutions write letters to the fairytale character. Then, the Christmas tree decorated with these letters is established in an office, bank or store. Employees and visitors read these letters, then, buy gifts for themselves or together with a letter of a child lowered in the box the amount required for its purchase. By the appointed date of the matinee all gifts are bought, signed and at the Christmas matinee day children receive gifts from the hands of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden. Each year the "AYALA" foundation selects a new boarding school or an orphanage, in which takes place the final matinee of the project. The holiday consisted of several stages, firstly the children watched a cheerful "Asterix: Land of the Gods" cartoon. On viewing each child received from the "Arman" cinema popcorn and drink. After the film show in the foyer of the cinema near the Christmas tree animators were playing, singing and dancing in a round with the children. The Santa Claus with the Snow Maiden lighted garlands on the tree, and then each child received from the hands of the Santa Claus gift, about which he wrote a letter to the good wizard. Volunteers of the Santa Claus from Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan, the Oriflame company, buyers of the Saks Fifth Avenue store came personally to hand the gifts which they bought by their own, read the letter of the child.
