Children with intellectual disabilities of the special (correctional) boarding school №7 must learn at least basic skills of handling household appliances for full adaptation. Such skills will make our children more independent, able to take care of themselves. In order to achieve this goal, our foundation has given all the necessary equipment: an electric stove, a microwave, a blender, a toaster, a cooker to the room social and domestic orientation. With all this techniques we have built a brand new kitchen set. In addition to this we have gifted a vacuum cleaner to the school. We are sure that domestic skills learned in this room will have a positive effect on intellectual development of this boarding school’s children.
