80 Kazakhstani children with various impairments have got free medical consultations by highly qualified specialists from South Korea – the neurosurgeon Jaeil Lee and the orthopedist Jung Sub Lee. The consultations took place at the Almaty regional children's clinical hospital of Otegen-Batyr village on June 28 and 29. During the visit the neurosurgeon Jaeil Lee has carried out surgeries on two Kazakhstani children. One more child will have a surgery in Busan in September. All the expenses will be covered by the receiving party.
The visit was arranged by the LCB Partners Company and the Charity Fund "AYALA". The consultations took place within the framework of the memorandum signed in 2016 between the fund and the Pusan National University Hospital.
It is the third visit of the professors to Almaty. Last summer doctors from South Korea consulted 60 children at the Children's medical emergency care center. At the next stage of cooperation specialists from Kazakhstan visited the Pusan National University Hospital.
After the visit two Kazakhstani neurosurgeons and two orthopedists were given a unique opportunity to take advanced training courses at the Pusan National University Hospital. The next time the South Korean doctors arrived in Almaty was in early November 2016. They gave free consultations to Kazakhstani children with various diseases at the Almaty regional children's clinical hospital and the Children's medical emergency care center.
As the Korean professors say, the cooperation between the Hospital and the "AYALA" foundation is getting stronger and progressing every time.
