The surgery department of Almaty Regional Clinical Hospital now has an activity room. Last year AYALA Charity Foundation together with Samsung Electronics Central Eurasia has already decorated such room. But this year the department moved to the second floor, and it was decided to retrofit and re-insulate a new room. Comfortable poufs have been purchased, on which children can sit freely while watching cartoons.  Samsung has provided the new activity room with an air conditioner. Together with an artist from Pictor studio and SpetsTransExpress company employees we painted a wall in the activity room.

“Almost all weekdays in hospitals are hard. Especially for children who want to move more, play and be active. That is why it is very important that even in hospitals children could have a place where they could communicate with each other and have a rest from procedures,” they said in the foundation.

Very young patients can now look at elephants, parrots, monkeys and other animals!
