The second charity BKS race at 10 km took place in the capital of the United Kingdom - London. Distance ran in London's famous Hyde Park. The race was attended by Kazakh diplomats, students, as well as our British friends. Olympic boxing champion Serik Sapiev who is currently studying in England participated in the competition. The event is organized by the British-Kazakh Society. This race is the final in a chain of charity BKS races in 2014.
Recall that in September semi-marathon in Astana and 10 km race in Almaty held. All funds raised at these events will be sent to the “Room-doctor” project, under which sensory rooms in orphanages of Shchuchinsk and Taldykorgan towns will be equipped.
For the British charity races have long been familiar, but for Kazakhstan is a new thing. Very pleased that the British-Kazakh Society helps our foundation in fulfilling the mission - education of culture and tradition of philanthropy in our country. Athletes, who took prizes received from the organizers of the race medals and symbolic prizes - dinner for two at a restaurant in London, a certificate for a spa treatment at the Ritz Carlton Almaty hotel, a certificate in a Compote culinary studio in Almaty and Afternoon Tea at the Langham London hotel.
