Children sanatorium № 2 is located in Almaty at 12th microdistrict, house 17. Its facilities are created for the rehabilitation of children at the age of 3 to 7 with neurological problems. Comfortable cabinets for physiotherapy, remedial gymnastics, massage etc. are provided. Teachers apply specially adapted programs for the development of the locomotor apparatus and correction of speech. Musical, sports event and different competitions are also conducted. The days of acquaintances, birthdays, and discos are regular occasions, the artists of circus and puppet-plays are invited as well. Charity foundation “AYALA” is directly involved in all these events.

A sensory room was created in children sanatorium № 2 of Almaty city. It is a world specially formed for creating an environment consisting of great number of different stimulators which affect organs of sight, hearing, smell, touch and vestibular receptors.

The sensory room is also called a "doctor-room" among the specialists. Using a specially selected scale of colours, soft light, recliners, quiet music and high lights the feeling of rest and tranquility is created. After a systematic therapy restoration processes accelerate, children`s emotional state gets better, anxiety and aggressiveness go down, sleep is normalizes, cerebral activity improves in children with neurological pathology and Cerebral Spastic Infantile Paralysis, including children staying in a sanatorium,

Necessary equipment for opening the sensory room was purchased by “AYALA” charity foundation jointly with  “Voluntary Organisation of Mercy”.
