А ceremony of the BiliChek device passing under the “Health of the nation begins with a maternity hospital” project of the “AYALA” charity foundation was held in the perinatal center №1. The cost of this device is 1 135 000 tenge.

Participation in charitable projects of young enterprising people is becoming a good tradition. Recall that in May of this year three young mothers from Astana - Zhanar Sarsenova, Gulnara Bisarinova and Zhanar Burahan organized a “Children's hearts” charity fair. During this fair, funds for the purchasing of non-invasive diagnosis of bilirubin of newborns apparatus were collected. Sponsors of the fair were “AlSalam” restaurant, “Panorama 01” Ltd, “Life Style Management” Ltd, Communicative media bureau - PRESS OFFICE, “Autoradio Kazakhstan” Ltd, Channel 7, “Keruen” SEC, AMEG.KZ, Simple Studio. Thanks to the participation of all of these companies managed to collect almost the entire amount for the purchase of the device.

Neonatal jaundice can occur almost fleeting, but long-term increase of bilirubin levels leads to severe damage of the nervous system. The BiliChek device allows without blood sampling determine elevated level of bilirubin of children and begin early treatment.  Prolonged jaundice leads to encephalopathy, which could seriously affect the future health of the child, including this baby face a delay of mental development.

This charitable initiative is a testament of the core mission of the "AYALA" foundation - education of tradition and culture of philanthropy. Competent and balanced approach towards the charity is very important because unsystematic activity can lead to negative consequences. People may be disappointed in the idea of charity.

Dina TURAKBAEVA, director of the perinatal center № 1 in Astana city on the happy event for the center said: “Perinatal centers and including our, concentrated childbirth with different pathologies of a mother and fetus, as well as the majority of preterm birth. Children, who are in need of intensive care, fall into the neonatal resuscitation and the BiliChek device, which we received today, will help our medical staff to provide high-quality assistance”.

Young mothers - Zhanar SARSENOVA, Gulnara BISARINOVA and Zhanar BURAHAN who organized the fundraising shared their impressions: “This action became for us an invaluable experience in the field of philanthropy.  We always wanted to do good deeds and the “Health of the nation begins with a maternity hospital” project has become the first step in charity for us. We have a lot of plans and we thank the “AYALA” foundation for the opportunity to contribute their fraction in the development of philanthropy in our country”.

Zhangeldy SARSENOV, vice president of the “AYALA” charity foundation said: “I am proud that in our country there are people who are able to turn their dream into reality. And when their activity is aimed at helping children, it is doubly valuable. An example of these young women will have a real contribution to our work”.
