“Resuscitation and neonatal intensive care”, so called an educational project for professionals from maternity hospitals and Republican perinatal center, which ended on the 8th of November in Almaty and organized by the "AYALA" charity foundation in partnership with the "Chevron" company, sponsored the arrival of foreign experts in Kazakhstan. The total project cost amounted to 2 564 000 tenge.
During the week, the coaches from Vilnius - neonatologists Violeta Irena Simonavichene and nurse Egle Ramonene on the basis of Almaty perinatal center shared with Kazakhstani colleagues with their knowledge and skills. In total, the training was attended by 25 specialists. The course was coordinated and supported by the Health Department of Almaty city. Perinatal center has provided access of students and teachers to the children's resuscitation department. Almaty city college of medicine has provided plaster casts for practicing. Recall that these plaster casts our foundation with the "Chevron" company passed to the college earlier.
The neonatologists Violeta Irena Simonavichene said about the past training: “The courses proved mutually beneficial. We trained your doctors and nurses, and at the same time getting something new for us from them. I would like to note the high level of training of Kazakhstani specialists. It was a pleasure to work with them. We hope that our cooperation will continue in the future”.
Saltanat Erbulatova deputy director for medical affairs of the perinatal center of Almaty noted: “With the Lithuanian colleagues we are familiar for several years. They are working according to European standards. Trainings like this always give impetus to the professional growth of our specialists. I want to thank the "AYALA" foundation for helping our perinatal center upon the "Breathe, baby", "I see the world" and "Breathe life" projects. Within these projects, we received a large number of modern medical equipment. And the training course, organized with the help of "Chevron" company has become a great addition to the listed projects”.
