The sensory room at Almaty boarding school for disabled children with psycho-neurological pathologies was equipped with new facilities by the charity foundation “AYALA”.  Now there are ottoman-armchair, fibro-optic carpet “Milky Way” and tunnel, decorative-developing panel “Seasons”, light table for sand drawing and many other things. Total cost – 1 376 000 tenge. The center «САТР» at its expense repaired the equipment in the room and also granted a set of CDs with relaxing music.

It should be noted that now 155 children aged from 3 to 18 years live in the boarding school. They are orphans and denied children. All of them have different diagnoses. Most of them are serious forms of diseases. As it is known, the sensory environment influences on all perceptive systems of organism, that is it causes a wonderful therapeutic effect which is of great need for children.
