This lesson of English in the Almaty orphanage № 1 was held in the unusual form today. There were delicious treats on the table instead of textbooks. And there was a stage where the best students of the course performed. The girls were dancing, singing and thanking their teachers Aliya, Gulzira and Olesya for the gifted knowledge. With the assistance of the fund “AYALA” three employees of Chevron company have started teaching English at the orphanage in this February. For five months their pupils were diligently learning new words, thoroughly repeating sentences after them, and today, according to the teachers, it can be safe to say about the effectiveness of the passed lessons. Eight schoolgirls from the first to fourth grades have received certificates of completion of the course. And they will continue learning English in September next academic year.
