On two days – on August 16 and 17 pupils of the Preobrazhenie orphanage of Saran city in Karaganda region and the orphanage №2 of Esil city in Akmola region have visited the International Exhibition Astana EXPO-2017. 51 children and seven attendants have seen the most interesting pavilions of the EXPO. Curiosity of the children was unlimited - they were interested in every exhibit of the Contemporary Art Center and, of course, they were surprised by robots-artists, whose actions required special attention. Drawing a vase in 3D by a blow and blowing on electronic dandelions were, perhaps, the funniest activities for the children.
If the art center has become a discovery for the young guests of the capital, the epicenter of their desires was the Nur Alem pavilion thanks to so called “uzyn kulak”, or what people say. The children were rushing to a sphere first of all – that is the Kazakhstan pavilion. The thematic pavilion appeared to be no less entertaining. And one day was not enough to see everything there. So the children wanted to stay, but their road back home was long and it was necessary to return before nightfall.
The AYALA Foundation is expressing its deep gratitude to the Ramada Plaza Astana Hotel for providing comfortable rooms to the children of Esil city in Akmola region and the Bini Burger for providing food. We are expressing our special gratitude to the Art Center pavilion and personally to Dinara Amangildina!
