95 pupils and teachers of orphanages of Akkol town and Uriupinka village of Akmola region visited the first stage of the finals of the personal World Championship of Speedway. Participants of the championship and fans were welcome in the Ice Palace “Alau”. For two days - on February 3 and 4 - the "ice gladiators" from Kazakhstan, Germany, Russia, Sweden, Austria and the Netherlands were competing to get a place in the sun. Exciting races of athletes on studded motorcycles left no one emotionless, even the smallest fans. High speeds, the race for victory were breathtaking! The national speedway team has shown a good result. Their performance was special both for the young fans from Akmola region and the audience in general - the pride of our team united everyone from Kazakhstan who was present in the ice palace.

The next stages of the Speedway Championship will continue in Russia, the Netherlands and Germany.
