10 pupils of SOS Children's Village Astana learned to cook an exquisite French dish – a poached egg.
It may seem that all that is needed is to boil an egg. But no! You need to cook it in a certain way to get the white coagulated around the yolk, keeping its original state - raw and tasty. It is important to add vinegar and salt in the right proportions. And yet - cut the salad, make toasts, arrange the dish and pour it with a cheese sauce.
The children were cooking under the guidance of the chef of Crepe Cafe Stanislav Shlyakhov. They enthusiastically repeated all the actions after the cook: they attentively monitored the temperature of water, learned to mix it in a special way, creating a small funnel around the egg.
Among the participants of the master class were young athletes and vocalists, winners of various national and international competitions. It turned out they were also talented in making poached eggs!
