“AYALA” foundation which basically helps the children’s health care institutions and orphanages, decided to retreat from the principle and do something good for our veterans in the year of the anniversary of victory in World War 2. We appealed to the district akimats with a request to give us the coordinates of the survived soldiers of the terrible war. To our surprise information was given only by Akimat of Bostandyk area. Employees of other regional local government offices apparently had other more important things to do or our written request was lost in a pile of papers.

“AYALA” Foundation President Aidan Suleimenova personally phoned all the veterans and found out what gifts they want to get for the holiday. We complied with these requests and all day we were awarding veterans with different gifts. It was the LCD TV, refrigerator, vacuum cleaner and Michael Antonovich Savchuk received that day wheelchair. The veteran, who moved in apartment on crutches, now had the opportunity to go out on the streets. The rest of veterans received requested funds. Total budget aid to veterans is 484 970 KZT. A single big story can be written about the veterans’ rejoice.
