Today, in a press-conference at "Interfax-Kazakhstan" press center the following people have taken part: Marat Bisengaliev, Serik Igembaev, a head of the health department of Kyzylorda region, Anatoly Ponomarev, a deputy chairman of "Sberbank" JSC, Gauhar Bramley-Fenton, a president of the British-Kazakh Society and Zhangeldy Sarsenov, a vice-president of the charity foundation "AYALA". The press-conference has been devoted to Marat Bisengaliyev’s charity concert. "AYALA" foundation plans to raise money for “Breathe, baby” Kyzylorda project during the time of preparation and holding a concert.
The concert will be held in the State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Abay.on May 2. The organisers of the concert are "AYALA" foundation, Sberbank and the British-Kazakh Society. During the press-conference, a head of the health department of Kyzylorda region, Serik Igembaev said: "Due to severe environmental conditions Aral Sea region suffers health of the population throughout the region, including women of childbearing age. So, to my great regret, the infant mortality rate for the area each year exceeds the average national level. The percentage of premature born children’s deaths in the first 0-6 days is up to 66.4%, including those with very low birth weight from 500 to 999 grams - 21.1%. In absolute figures, annually in average 46-51children are born with very low (500-999 g) mass, 0-6 die in the first 34-38 days, 10-12 children survive, and 7-9 children of them survive till the age of 1 year. It should be noted that we have a growth of survival rate of low birth weight infants under 1 year from 3.8% in 2009 to 17.6% in 2011".
Marat Bisengaliev said: "I have often participated in charity events abroad, and of course i could not refuse such a proposal in my homeland. On the other hand, such actions help to rise and increase the number of patrons in Kazakhstan, which I hope, starting with a charity, will support classical music. To participate in charity events, I try to involve as many members of my family as I can into participating in charity events, especially young people, to show their Kazakh peers an example of participation in charity. I am pleased to see that my nephews Amir and Galia participate in the important, useful and good actions with no hesistation".
Our aim is to assist regions in acute needy, - said Anatoly Ponomarev, a deputy chairman of "Sberbank" JSC - because according to the Ministry of Health Care, Kyzylorda region is among the five most deprived areas of infant mortality. Knowing how precious life of every child is to Kazakhstan, we could not stay away from this event. We sincerely believe that "Breathe, baby" project of "AYALA", in which "Sberbank" is involved, will save thousands of lives. Our bank, aware of its social responsibility, pays great attention to philanthropy. For us, it is important that the bank's activities not only bring economic benefits but also social well-being".

And I am, especially as a doctor, pleased to see concrete results of our work. Statistics, the foundation receives from maternity hospitals and prenatal centers with markers "before" and "after» the installation of medical equipment that we buy for the sponsors' funds and the money collected from the boxes, please us as physicians and citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We are planning to collect 19 357 200 KZT to implement “Breathe, baby” Kyzylorda project. I am confident that with the active support of the media, this goal is attainable".
During the press-conference, а head of Health Department of Kyzylorda region, Serik Igembaev handed appreciation letter and souvenir to a violin music star Marat Bisengaliyev from the akim of Kyzylorda Region in recognition of the musician’s merits in the field of charity. "AYALA" Charity Foundation has decided to hold not just a "party for a party" but a fundraising event for "Breathe, baby" project for its 5th anniversary. We would like to stress once again that absolutely all money collected in preparation for the event, as well as funds raised during the concert will be directed to "Breathe, baby" Kyzylorda project.
