Today, in the Pavlodar regional perinatal center a ceremony of medical equipment transferring for the nursing of premature infants for a total amount of 17,715,800 tenge hold. The sponsors of this stage of the project were a Trade Commerce Oil Company and a "Kaganat" network of canteens of the Almaty city.

The Pavlodar Regional Perinatal Center (RPC) is designed for 95 beds; neonatal pathology department can receive up to 30 patients. The center's employees perform a care to newborn through the air ambulance. During the 5 months of 2011 1140 children have born alive, 9.2% of which - premature.

The pediatric resuscitation of the Pavlodar regional perinatal center is designed for 6 beds. As the institution of III level of perinatal care, this maternity establishment provides care for pregnant women and women from risk groups in the Pavlodar region.

"The "Breathe, baby" project of the "AYALA" charity foundation has long ago proved its effectiveness. Our colleagues from other regions are very pleased with the quality of equipment, which they have received within the framework of the project. This equipment very significantly helps in the neonatologists work, making it more efficient. "Perinatal centers and ours in particular, concentrate birth with various pathologies of the mother and the fetus and the majority of preterm birth. Children, who are in need of intensive care, go to the neonatal resuscitation, and equipment that we have received today is very important. This equipment allows us not only to monitor the child's vital signs, but also helps medical staff to provide highly skilled help. And another very important function of the resuscitation table is to maintain a "thermal circuit", - said the director of the Pavlodar RPC Ayman Kairkenovna Ospanova.

The effectiveness of various projects of the foundation proved by hundreds, and perhaps thousands of saved children's lives. "Today, another regional perinatal center has received an equipment under the project "Breathe, baby". This project our foundation began in 2009 and within the framework of this project modern medical equipment got all maternity hospitals and a perinatal center of Almaty city. And after the signing of the Memorandum with the Ministry of Health, the project became a republican. This project is nearing to completion, and now it is easier to name regional perinatal centers, which have not received assistance from the "AYALA" foundation. There are RPC of Uralsk, Aktau, Kokshetau and Turkestan cities. We hope that this year there will be sponsors for these cities"- said a vice-president of the "AYALA" charity foundation Zhangeldy Sarsenov.

This year in Pavlodar city a construction of a new perinatal center is planned to begin. This building will be much more comfortable as for medical workers and as for patients. And the new equipment, which the perinatal center received today, will be a worthy addition to the new building. Our staff on the same day flew to Astana so that tomorrow in Kostanay passed the next stage of the "Breathe, baby" project.
