Today a ceremony of granting the medical equipment necessary for taking care of premature infants will be held in the Southern Kazakhstan regional perinatal center #3 of Turkestan city.
The project “Breathe, baby” of the charity foundation “AYALA”, which has been already active for 5 years, is coming up to its end. In the process of this project’s implementation a big number of medical equipment was installed in the intensive care units of maternity hospitals and perinatal centers around the whole Kazakhstan. The project was implemented jointly with the Healthcare Ministry and regional public health departments. The vital medical equipment for taking care of infants helped medical staff to decrease the infants’ death rate, in general, to 17% around the whole republic. This fact was marked by the president of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev. This result serves as an evidence of increasing competitiveness of our country.
Today a subsequent stage of the project “Breathe, baby” is realized in the Southern Kazakhstan regional perinatal center #3 located in the city of Turkestan. The foundation “AYALA” provides the intensive care units with the respiratory apparatus CPAP and medical suction devices for a total amount of 2 936 000 tenge. JSC “Intergaz Central Asia” and a company LCB Partners were the sponsors of this stage of the project “Breathe, baby”.
A director of the affiliate of Educational course plant JSC “Intergaz Central Asia” Nesipbai Sarzhuzeyev noticed: “Participation of our company in the serious socially-significant medical project of the charity foundation “AYALA” has become an important step for us. The business participation in the projects oriented on improvement of life quality of our civilians is becoming a good tradition. I hope that our example will be followed by successful people of our region”.
Bota Tulenova, a representative of LCB Partners Company in her turn said: “Our company takes part in the projects of “AYALA” foundation not for the first time. I would like to attract special attention to the high professional level of all employees and volunteers of the foundation. I see that they are sincerely dedicated to their work. All projects where our company participated in bring real, visible results. The most important is that children who really need to have special care receive help”.
A chief doctor of the regional perinatal center #3 of Turkestan city Alma Yaudovna Ilyasova says: “I’ve known about the project “Breathe, baby” for a long time. My colleagues, directors of perinatal centers, chiefs of intensive care units notice the fact that the equipment they received from “AYALA” foundation really helps to decrease the infants’ death rate and allows to provide high technological help to infants who were born early. It is very pleasant that the help from “AYALA” foundation came to Turkestan, too”.
“In South Kazakhstan demographic rate is traditionally high. In one of 4 perinatal centers annually the same number of infants, as in the perinatal centers of North Kazakhstan, are born. The Healthcare Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with our foundation implements the project “Breathe, baby” and it recommends paying special attention to this region. This year our foundation transferred modern equipment to two perinatal centers in the Southern Kazakhstan region. We hope that this action will be supported by all citizens and civilians of Shymkent and region”, - told a vice-president of the charity foundation “AYALA” Zhangeldy Sarsenov.
