Three high school students from Almaty attended the finals of the summer SAMSUNG IT SCHOOL, which was held on July 16 in Moscow. Miras Serikuly, Stavr Plaksin and Mikhail Mishchenko are silver winners in the Games nomination of the CodingLab project from SAMSUNG. They developed a game called "World Abyss" in the UNITY language. It is a quest game for Android smartphones in the adventure genre with several locations, where the character can be controlled by the on-screen joystick. The complexity of the project inspired the organizers of SAMSUNG IT SCHOOL and the guys were invited to visit the capital of Russia.
On the finals of the IT SCHOOL they got an excellent opportunity to compare their strength and knowledge with the strongest projects of Russian high school students. And, by the modest estimates of the guys, by no means they are not behind their foreign peers on the programming level. Also thanks to SAMSUNG Miras, Stavr and Mikhail had a great opportunity to visit the main tourist sights of Moscow, which they enjoyed a lot!
CodingLab is a programming school from SAMSUNG Company for students of Almaty general education schools and colleges aged 14 to 18 years.
