They got so used to each other within this week that they didn’t want to leave. Last Saturday Lithuanian specialists Arunas Lyubshis and Inessa Subotovich held a final lecture for obstetrician gynaecologists, neonatologists and medical nurses on the basis of Regional perinatal center of Kyzylorda city. After all they took commemorative photos and, certainly, granted certificates. The training courses were held in January, 23-28. Arunas and Inessa told Kazakhstan medical specialists about effective help for an ill and premature infant. Seminars were visited by about 100 doctors. According to their words, now they will make conclusions and canalize all their energy to correct drawbacks.
It should be noticed that part of money for education of Kyzylorda doctors was presented by a businesswoman and traveler from London city – Kate Mallinson. She participated in the charity swimming competitions through the river Dart. All collected money in the sum of £4,210 was transferred to “AYALA” foundation. Additional financial resources were collected thanks to the fund-raising boxes which were set in Almaty and Astana. In total, about 2.5 million tenge was spent on the professional development of the specialists in Kyzylorda.
Let us remind that an international expert of intensive therapy and care after infants – Arunas Lyubshis held a lot of seminars and lectures in the CIS countries for the past 10 years. Now he is a head of the department in the Children’s Vilnius medical university. Last year Arunas conducted training seminars on the basis of the Center of Perinatology and children’s cardio surgery in Almaty. As a result of gaining valuable knowledge Kazakh specialists succeeded in decreasing the infants’ death rate in many times.
