It will be easier to care for newborns and premature babies for doctors of the Kostanay regional children's hospital. Within the framework of the Breathe Life project AYALA Charity Fund has purchased new equipment for the medical institution.

The intensive care incubator Amelie will be installed in the hospital, which is designed to create comfortable environment conditions in the process of treatment and care for newborn children in serious condition, including premature ones. The incubator costing 6,700,000 tenge is equipped with an intensive system of air temperature and humidity control.

The open resuscitation system Amenic (4,460,000 tenge) will be used by doctors to ensure optimal temperature conditions during resuscitation or subsequent intensive care for premature babies and full-term children with normal weight.

Three Amelix phototherapy lamps (2,940,000 tenge) were also purchased for the Kostanay regional children's hospital. It is necessary to keep babies with increased level of bilirubin, which causes jaundice, under their rays. The treatment is carried out without medication.

Two patient monitors M20 (1,900,000 tenge) will become an addition to the incubator and the open resuscitation system. These monitors allow monitoring the vital indicators of patients on intensive care.

The total cost of this project is 16,000,000 tenge. The sponsors were AYALA Charity Foundation and regular Kazakhstan citizens who helped to raise money through Halyk online banking and SMS (Beeline, Kcell, Activ, Tele2). People were also donating different amounts in special boxes installed in the sales offices of Air Astana, Kaganat chain of canteens, Mamma Mia and Ciao pizza chain of restaurants.

It should be noted, that the project of 2018 in Kostanay region is systemic. Besides the medical institution, help was also provided to educational institutions. So, AYALA Charity Foundation funded purchasing of interactive boards for Kostanay special boarding school No. 2 for orphans and children left without parental care, with special educational needs, Kostanay special boarding school No. 3 for children with special educational needs, Lisakovskaya special boarding school for children with special educational needs and Arkalyk special school for children with special educational needs. The total cost of this project is 1,990,300 tenge.

Also children's books for a total of 1,536,302 tenge were purchased for the Sarykol central regional library named after N.K. Dauletova. The sponsor was ADD Capital Company. The sponsor money was also used to buy computer equipment for 1,300,640 tenge. Now the institution has a projector with a special screen and the necessary configuration, as well as an MF printer.

"It is very pleasant to work in Kostanay and Kostanay region. As both doctors and teachers treat the fund activity very responsibly. By experience we know, that the equipment that we had transferred earlier never stands idle and runs at full capacity. I especially want to note the activity of district medical and educational institutions. You want to work with such beneficiaries again and again," said the president of AYALA  Charity Foundation Aidan Suleimenova.
