A team of children cardio-surgeons from Italy was in Almaty from April 8^th till April 18^th. Doctors and nurses arrived to Almaty to carry out operations on the Kazakhstani children who suffer from congenital heart diseases.

Except working in surgery and in hospital, doctors had read a series of lectures for cardiologists and cardio-surgeons. The lectures were devoted to Fallot's tetralogy.  The doctors from the National Sientific Center of Surgery named after Syzganov and the employees of other medical institutions of our republic attended the lectures.  It is already the third visit of the Italian doctors to Almaty. We would remind that visits of cardio-surgeons became possible thanks to cooperation of the several charitable organizations. The charity organization «Aiutare i bambini» paid all expenses for flight, consumable materials and business trip. And all the expenses for the doctors’ stay in Almaty – accomodation, meal, transport and the cultural program were paid by charity foundations "AYALA" and "DARA”.
